My philosophy is to prevent or treat the cause of a disease rather than medicate the symptom.

Before my life as a Chiropractor/Nutritionist, I spent 15 years in the oil and gas industry. While serving as President of an oilfield service business in 1984, my wife developed breast cancer. During that time, I quickly learned traditional medicine did not have all the answers. “Divine intervention” and the desire to help others prevent these diseases, led me to retire from the oilfield industry and begin the pursuit of a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. During those four years, my wife lost her battle with cancer and my father succumbed to diabetes. This experience then compelled me to study Clinical Nutrition, Functional Medicine and the prevention of diseases. My philosophy is to prevent or treat the cause of a disease rather than medicate the symptom.

I have attended numerous post-graduate courses, including The Institute of Functional Medicine and enjoyed lecturing at Lone Star College, speaking at numerous public engagements and have published articles for many periodicals and newspapers. I have since re-married and am the proud father and stepfather of four children.
